Welcome back to Tim Colson from Suffolk who's 3rd trip to the lake bagged him 76 carp in the week.

Well done to regular angler Pete Malone who got a new PB on The Mill Lake with this 24.12lb.

Mark Longmuir (with his serious face) & boys Brodie & Ryley were made up with this 20lb mirror.

Mill Lake, 3 acres is an ideal ‘runs’ water holding a stock of 250 carp weighing up to mid 20’s, with the lake record currently 26.8lb. Fishing is exclusive to 2 anglers allowing each angler 2 rods to fish from dawn to dusk. The lake has varying depths from 5 to 15 ft with lily pads to fish to and with overhanging margins, which give you the excellent opportunity to go stalking. Other species of fish in the lake include pike, perch, rudd to 4lb and tench.

You can choose to bivy up at the lake or if you prefer you can hire The Cottage for the week and stay in comfort (please see Cottage page for further details). The Anglers Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster etc plus all kitchen utensils. It’s free to use and an ideal place to socialise with the other anglers, talk tactics, discuss catches and enjoy a meal.

The season commences March and finishes mid September with the price for 2006/7 being £300 / €450 per week for the lake (not per angler), which includes permits and use of facilities.
